Craftbrewed Beer

We opened our brewery in 1988. We were one of the first craft breweries in the state and have grown to a capacity of 1000 barrels a year (a barrel is 31 gallons). Our ales take from 14 to 40 days, depending on the style, to complete the boiling, cooling, fermentation and conditioning processes. All of our ales are unfiltered, unpasteurized, served at 41º F and less carbonated than American Lagers to allow their full flavors to be enjoyed and savored.

          Draw (10 oz.) - 3.00
          Pint (16 oz.) - 4.00
          Pitcher (64 oz.) - 13.00
Beer in a Souvenir Pint Glass - 7.00
          Taster Plate - 9.00

Always on Tap

Lightner Creek Lager - A light bodied golden ale, low in hop character with a spicy aroma from whole Czech Saaz hops.
Old Oak Amber Ale - A well balanced American Amber Ale. Smooth malt character balanced with a healthy dose of Cascade hops aged on oak chips - our most popular beer.
Colorado Trail Nut Brown Ale - The slightly roasted flavor and nutty palate with a hint of hops make this beer subtle and drinkable.
Iron Horse Oatmeal Stout/Imperial Stout - One of these beers is available all of the time. Our heartiest beers emphasize roasted malts and the generous use of hops. Creamy, smooth and always nitrogenated, these beers are nearly a meal or a dessert in themselves.

Beer To Go: Growlers

Don’t forget to pick up a growler (½ gallon jug) of your favorite brew. They’re stocked in a cooler in the front of the restaurant. Remember, you don’t win friends with salad.

Ask your server which beers are available in kegs, please allow at least four hours for keg filling.

Carver's Best Firkin Beer

Our brewers have returned to the traditional English method of fermenting ales in firkins. Hand pulled through an English beer engine, these ales are served at cellar temperature of 52 F. Ask a server what is currently on tap!

Brewmaster Specials

We keep at least five of our own beers on tap at all times. We also offer two or three seasonal favorites. Our brewer enjoys brewing new beers, don’t be surprised to see a new beer on our beer board.
